<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to recover a polar solvent completely by suppressing the deterioration of the adsorbing capacity of an adsorbent, by using an inorg. adsorbent having a liquid phase preliminarily adhered thereto while desorbing the org. gas adsorbed therewith by heating. CONSTITUTION:Even if the adsorption and desorption of cyclohexanone are repeated ten several times by using an adhering adsorbent using polyethylene glycol as a liquid phase, a residual adsorbed amount is suppressed to zero. In this case, by deterioration of the adsorbent is not recognized and the polar solvent can be recovered in an almost 100% ratio. In desorbing the polar solvent from the adhering adsorbent, said adsorbent is heated to a temp. near to the b.p. of the polar solvent by steam and/or inert gas(desorbing gas). In addition, as the liquid phase of the adhering adsorbent, alkylene glycol ester is used with alcohol.</p> |
