PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of the pump by providing a main shaft with a forward positioned impellor and an air injection means at the blow-in side of the main impeller. CONSTITUTION:The main shaft 3 is provided with the forwardly positioned impeller having blades 8 and the air injection hole 12 at the blow-in side of the main impeller. According to this method, small volume of air is blown into the blow-off side and blow-off air is uniformed by the blades 8. Accordingly, the viscosity of the slurry is reduced, the pumping of high density slurry is facilitated and the efficiency of the pump may be improved.
