PURPOSE:To operate effectively the system by converting an optical power transmitted from an optical fiber into an electric power by means of a photoelectric voltage converting element to supply this power to a node section having a failure of power supply. CONSTITUTION:A power supply device 101 is divided into an optical reception circuit 4, a power supply 9 for optical transmission circuit 5, and a power supply 10 for bus control logical section 8, and the power supply system is constituted with redundancy. If the said power supply 10 is failed, the power supply 9 supplies electric power to the optical reception circuit 4 and the optical transmission circuit 5, opens switches 41 and 51, and closes the switch 41 to form an electric bypass circuit and to disconnect the logical section 8. Further, if the power supply 9 is failed also, an output of the photoelectric voltage element 2 is boosted by a voltage converter 3 by closing the switch 31 and supplies it as the power supply for the optical reception circuit 4 and the optical transmission circuit 5. Moreover, the closed switches 41, 51 are opened, a switch 44 is closed to by-pass the logical section 8. |
