The invention relates to a method of obtaining a lasting deformation on a plate-shaped precast concrete part. The precast concrete part is deformed at as early an instant as possible by applying a load directly after removal from the formwork and is held under load in this deformed state for a given time until, by an increase in the elastic modulus and by creep, the precast part retains the desired deformation even after removal of the load. The deformation applied must be greater by the back-deformation which occurs constantly. As a result of the invention, it becomes possible to manufacture plate-shaped precast concrete parts in considerably more economical methods as plate-shaped precast concrete parts can be manufactured in simple plane forms and the same forms can be used for variously curved precast parts.
