A magnetic train-influencing device consists of a track magnet arranged on a section of track, the force flux of which magnet is received by the pole shoes of a vehicle magnet when a rail vehicle passes. The vehicle magnet (FT) has a polarised relay (PR) whose switching-over contact (UT) changes from a first switching position into the second stable switching position when subjected to magnetic influence. In this process a previously switched-on travel-inhibit relay (FS) is switched off. In the vehicle magnet (FT), an auxiliary winding (HG) which can be switched on by a control operation is also provided, with the aid of which winding (HG) the polarised relay (PR) can be switched back into the first switching position. In order to increase the operational safety, it is essential that in each case a supplementary relay (ZS1, ZS2) which can be switched on in each of the two switching positions of the polarised relay (PR) and whose working and idle contacts form an anti-valence test circuit is provided. During correct operation, a test relay (P), one working contact (P1) of which is located in the switching-on circuit of the auxiliary winding (HG) is switched on by the anti-valence test circuit. Further contacts (ZS11, ZS21) of the supplementary relays (ZS1, ZS2) which are connected in series are located in the switching-on circuit of the travel-inhibit relay (FS). <IMAGE>
