This self-carrying court (1) is made with modular box-shaped panels having a bottom directed towards the inside of the court and assembly flanges. At least the bottom is comprised at least partially of a coating similar to the monolayer coating of traditional courts. The panels may be made entirely with this material. The assembly may be carried out by screwing or in a similar way. The cavity of the box-chipped panels may be filled with a material such as polystyrene providing the required acoustic absorption. A metal framework for reinforcement purposes may be adapted around the self-carrying court. The modular construction obtained by the use of those panels may be carried out by assembling the panels by means of parts comprising a first aid intended to be housed into the groove of profiled <SIGN> sections forming the framework and a second hand cooperating with at least one pair of superposed modular panels and a rod connecting those heads, such mode of construction being applicable to other structures, for example for thermal insulation purposes. The panels of the court may also be made of any material. In this case, the inner face receives a coating of a composition containing by weight of dry material from 20 to 60% of cement, from 30 to 70% of mineral or organic filler, from 2 to 10% of zirconium silicate fibres, from 0.2 to 1% of cement plasticizers, from 1 to 3% of glue and from 0.1 to 0.5% of a water-repellent agent, and after said coating has dried, the method comprises the application on its free face, for example by means of a brush or by projection, of a finishing layer formed by a lacquer or synthetic resin, particularly acrylic or vinylic resin. A coating layer which is not filled with fibres may be fist applied to the free face of the base coating before applying the finishing layer. |
