PURPOSE:To obtain a toner forming hardly a toner film on a photosensitive body and a carrier and causing no offsetting phenomenon on a fixing roll by adding specified silicone oil to a toner contg. a binder resin and a coloring agent as principal components. CONSTITUTION:A binder resin such as polyurethane resin is mixed with a coloring agent such as carbon black, iron powder as a carrier, and 0.01-2.0% silicone oil having >=5,000cs kinematic viscosity and 4.8X10<4>-1.1X10<5> number average mol. wt. The Silicon oil has dimethylsiloxane structure represented by the formula (where n shows the degree of polymn. and it is 650-1,500). The mixture is melted, kneaded, and pulverized to obtain a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image. The toner has superior flowability and shelf stability, and when continuous copying is carried out for a long term, toner filming is not caused on the surface of a photosensitive body and the surface of the iron powder as the carrier. |
