PURPOSE:To lower the specific fuel consumption of an internal combustion engine, by making proportional integration of a feed-back signal given from an oxygen sensor by use of a constant of proportional integration corresponding to the output of a means for detecting operational conditions of the engine. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen sensor 30 detects the density of oxygen contained in the exhaust gas of an engine and a temperature sensor 31 detects the temperature of cooling water 32 of the engine. Further, a valve-opening detector 34 detects the opening of a throttle valve 8 and an engine-speed detector 35 detects the engine speed. A control circuit 38 controls the air-fuel ratio by changing the opening of a main fuel solenoid valve 14, a slow fuel solenoid valve 18 and a jet fuel solenoid valve 22 on the basis of the output signals of the detectors 30-35. The air-fuel ratio is feedback-controlled according to the result of proportional integration of the signal fedback from the oxygen sensor 30. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to lower the specific fuel consumption of the engine. |
