In order that plant pots, especially earthenware plant pots with a monochrome or multicoloured coating and a saucer, a plurality of which are contained in a packaging, can firstly be stacked without any harmful effects on the plants, and secondly in order that the observer's view of the plant pots with saucer is not blocked, a packaging is provided with walls approximately corresponding to the height of the plant which are cut away, at least partially. In addition, the base has seatings for the pots, which have additional viewing windows in the base region in the extension of the wall cut-outs.
