Apparatus for material treatment, the apparatus comprising a bowl or container (1), resilient strap means (2) attached to the periphery of the bowl or container and extending axially of the bowl or container and extending around the bowl or container to be attached at their other ends to a supporting framework (3), an electromagnet (4) supported on a base supporting the bowl or container, the moveable core (6) of the electromagnet being attached to the bottom of the bowl or container so that the vertical reciprocating movement of the electromagnet is converted by the suspending straps to a part rotary motion so that the bowl partakes of a combined reciprocatory and part rotary motion. |
