PURPOSE:To permit easy formation of an ejecting nozzle and to provide the inexpensive nozzle having easy workability by forming the nozzle into quadrisected constitution, and providing a housing case which houses and supports the ejecting nozzle and is made of a metal having the coefft. of thermal expansion approximate to that of the ejecting nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle device for producing an amorphous metal has an ejecting nozzle connected to the molten metal feed port of a housing vessel which houses a molten metal. The molten metal is ejected from the ejecting nozzle onto a cooling roll under high-speed rotation and is thus quickly cooled, by which an amorphous metal is manufactured. Such nozzle 6 is formed of a pair of trapezoidal side plates 4 regulating the width of a nozzle aperture 8 and a pair of rectangular side plates 5 regulating the length of the aperture 8 by engaging with the plates 4. A housing case 7 which houses and supports the nozzle 6 made into such quadrisected constitution and is made of a metal having the coefft. of thermal expansion approximate to that of the nozzle 6 is provided. |
