PURPOSE:To obtain a titled device for straightening an expanded product by attaching straightening rolls to be brought into contact with the expanded inner surface of a pipe to the upper and lower parts or one of them of a boom used for actuating an expanding taper cone in the inside of the pipe. CONSTITUTION:An UOE pipe 2 is advanced by protruding a rod 14 housed in the inside of an expanding head 8 and pulling back a segment 10. Next, the segment 10 is expanded for expanding the pipe 2 by pulling the rod 14. This procedure is repeated for expanding the pipe 2, but it happens to bend by its own weight at its stepped extension part. Then, straightening rolls are attached to the upper and lower parts or one of them just behind the head 8 to guide the working part straightly, thereby preventing the warp of a pipe caused at the time of expanding it. |
