PURPOSE:A thermoplastic resin composition having a good metallic luster, providing a molding with an inconspicuous weld line and excellent in rigidity, dimensional stability and mechanical strength, comprising a transparent thermoplastic resin, a color pigment and carbon fiber. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin composition having a metallic luster, comprising 100pts.wt. composition comprising 90-99.9wt% transparent thermoplastic resin (e.g., PVC, PS, or acrylate) and 10-0.1wt% color pigment and 3-60pts.wt. carbon fiber. This composition can be molded by usual molding processes such as injection molding, extrusion molding, and compression molding. The produced molding has an inconspicuous weld line, a good metallic luster and improved rigidity, dimensional stability and mechanical strength, and therefore can be used in various fields where these properties are necessary.
