The present invention relates to a system for monitoring an electric vehicle and to a method therefor and, more specifically, to a system for monitoring a charging station status of an electric vehicle by using a mobile communication terminal and to a method therefor for displaying a charging station by searching for the charging station for charging the electric vehicle through the mobile communication terminal in real time, providing the same on map and monitoring the current charging status of the electric vehicle in real time.
