System constructed from a meter of heat units with its centralised microprocessor-based computer (5) and its thermoelectric probes (10) which are distributed over the individual heating radiators fed by a common source of thermal energy and which are remotely interrogated by the centralised computer (5) via local interrogation circuits (11). The objective is to adjoin to this meter of heat units metering-signal capturing heads (10') placed on the consumption meters equipping the rooms of the installations and attached to the centralised computer (5) by interrogation circuits (11) identical to those of the thermoelectric probes (10). This adjoining makes it possible to profit from the elements of the meter of heat units in order to carry out remote readings of various services consumed, such as water, gas and electricity. <IMAGE>
