PURPOSE:To obtain a rock drill having good breaking performance by a method in which a cam cylinder for the cutter of a cutter type dredger is detachably provided to the dredger, and the total weight of a latter is transmitted by dropping to a chisel held at the tip of the ladder by using the cam. CONSTITUTION:A rock drill A is provided to the tip of a ladder (a) pivotally supported in a vertically rocking manner from a cutter type dredger body. A cam cylinder 3 is detachably provided to the tip of the drive shaft of the cutter, and the rock drill body 1 is attached to the ladder (a). Plural chisels 4 having rollers 6 on their upper ends are held in a vertically slidable manner on the downside of the rock drill body 1. By the rotation of the cam cylinder 3, the falling weight of the suction ladder (a) is transmitted to the head of the chisels 4. Rock drilling efficiency can thus be raised by the concentrated striking. |
