<p>PURPOSE:To accurately detect the malfunction of a normal brake by using a general braking force as an object to be inspected for a brake malfunction, and varying its detecting level in response to a brake command and a load signal. CONSTITUTION:An electric brake controller 5 and a pneumatic brake controller 6 operate by a brake command 1b at braking time. An operational amplifier 22 adds a motor current 5a and a load signal 20a and outputs a general brake signal 22a proportional to the general braking force. A brake calculator 23 outputs a necessary brake signal 23a on the basis of the command 1b and a load signal 21a. A comparator 24 judges that the normal braking force is insufficient if a deviation between the signal 22a and the signal 23a exceeds the prescribed value, and outputs a brake malfunction signal 24a.</p> |
