A CANNED MOTOR PUMP FOR USE AT HIGH TEMPERATURE A canned motor pump for use with high temperature fluid is disclosed wherein heat generated during operation of the motor is absorbed by the fluid or liquid during circulation thereof through the motor thereby maintaining optimum operating conditions for the motor while avoiding excessive cooling of the fluid. To enable operation of the motor with fluids of temperatures higher than heretofore possible, the field winding of the motor is impregnated with an insulating material of silicone resin containing fluorinated mica, thus improving the dielectric strength at the temperatures of processing fluids employed.
