PURPOSE:To obtain a ventilating fan which is not in danger of spoiling an external appearance even if a panel is in an opened state at the time of operation, by making the panel in front of a main body operate in an opening and closing states through an advance and retreat actions of a lever moving about linearly. CONSTITUTION:The front of a main body 1 equipped with a panel frame 7 is so constituted that it is opened and closed with a panel 9 and an opening and closing mechanism 14 having a lever 23 moving about linearly in the directions advancing forward side and receding to an original position is provided. It is so constituted that opening and closing actions of the panel 9 is made to perform through advancing and receding actions of the lever 23. In consequence of this, an opening of a slit 24 to be provided on the panel frame 7 for making the lever 23 protrude to a forward side can be done with a small one. A ventilating fan, therefore, through which an improvement of an external appearance can be contrived by covering the front with the panel 9 by closing the panel 9 at the time of suspension of operation and there is no possibility that the external appearance is spoiled even if the panel 9 is in an open state at the time of operation, is obtained. |
