PURPOSE:To improve the recording accuracy and reliability of signals by giving an angle of inclination, e.g. 30 deg., 45 deg., etc. to a head at the front side of the recording direction from the vertical position in response to the head speed and at the same time to reduce the thickness of a recording medium owing to this inclined recording system. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic or optical recording is carried out by giving an angle of inclination, e.g. 30 deg., 45 deg., etc. to a magnetic or optical recording head instead of 90 deg. to a recording medium such as a tape, a disk, etc. The reproduction and erasion are also carried out an inclined reproduction and inclined erasion in the same way with said inclined magnetic.optical head. |
