PURPOSE:To confirm the job state on the background screen area without switching operation of screen areas by displaying identification data and job names of foreground and background processings when one of processing data of foreground and background is displayed. CONSTITUTION:For example, F (foreground) is designated by a display switching key F/B on a keyboard 1. A signal F is set to ''1'' and a background signal B is set to ''0'' by an F/B deciding circuit 3. A CPU2 executes the foreground processing operation, and a gate G7 is opened, and a gate G9 is closed. As the result, a user area UA of a CRT16 is defined as a foreground screen area, and a system area SA is defined as a background screen area. Consequently, an identification code F of foreground, a job name JOB1, and a task TSK3 are displayed in an area A1. Contents of a buffer 12 for occurrence of error are displayed in an area A2, and an identification code B of background, a job name JOB5, and a task TSK10 are displayed in an area A3. Contents of a buffer 13 are displayed in an area A4 if an error occurs in the background processing. |
