PURPOSE:To make a wheel lightweight and improve workability and vibration damping property by welding or bolt-joining a rim made of steel sheet of a wheel for a car to a metal ring integrated on the external surface of a disk made of fiber reinforced plastic. CONSTITUTION:When a disk main body 8 is molded by using sheet molding as the material, a metal ring 5 is molded integratedly. Then, a rim 2 and a disk 6 are integrated by welding the outer periphery of the large diameter annular protrusion section 5a of a metal ring 5 on the internal surface of the rim 2. The disk 6 is bolt-joined to a hub through a metal bush 10. As a result, a wheel is made lightweight and improved the workability and vibration damping property. |
