PURPOSE:To remove efficiently the oxidized product of a color developer, to make a sensitive material thin, and to improve the long-term shelf stability by incorporating a specified sulfonylaminobenzene deriv. as a color stain inhibitor. CONSTITUTION:A colorless compound having at least two substituted sulfonylamino groups on its benzene ring at the 1- and 2-positions or the 1- and 4- positions is incorporated as a color stain inhibitor. For example, a polysulfonylaminobenzene deriv. represented by the formula (where each of R<1> and R<2> is alkyl, R<3> is OH, halogen or the like, each of l and m is an integer of 1-4, n is an integer of 1-3, and l+m+n<=6) is used as the colorless compound. The compound may be incorporated into an intermediate layer as a color turbidity inhibitor and into an emulsion layer as an anti-color-fogging agent. By using said polysulfonylaminolbenzene deriv. in a sensitive material, the oxidized product of a color developer or a charge transfer type black developer is efficiently removed, and the sensitive material can be made thin, so sharpness is improved. The color stain inhibiting power is not reduced even after long-term storage. |
