PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which gives laminated sheets having excellent moisture resistance, electrical characteristics and flame retardance, by incorporating a reaction product as a flame retarder in a phenolic resin. CONSTITUTION:An organophosphine oxide [e.g. tris-(3-hydroxypropyl)phosphine oxide] is reacted with a bisphenol type brominated epoxy resin at 150-180 deg.C for 1-3hr to obtain a reaction product (A) serving as a flame retarder. Component A is blended with a melamine- or guanamine-modified phenolic resin to obtain the titled compsn. The compsn. is dissolved in an org. solvent. A substrate of a paper such as kraft paper is immersed in the soln. and dried to semi-cure the compsn., thus obtaining a prepreg. A plurality of the prepregs and copper foil are laminated and the laminate is pressure-molded with heating to obtain a laminated sheet. |
