PURPOSE:To reduce the dubbing time remarkably without deteriorating the reliability for the lifetime of a motor, etc. by increasing greatly the tape driving speed for dubbing without switching the rotational frequency of the motor. CONSTITUTION:In a high-speed dubbing mode, the 2nd pinch roller 17 is pressed into contact with the 2nd capstan 12 of the 1st tape deck part 1. The 2nd idler 19 is controlled and the 2nd reel drive disk 18 is revolved. Thus a magnetic tape 9 of the 1st cassete tape 2 is driven in the 2nd direction (arrow B) at a several times speed compared with the standard speed. At the same time, a magnetic tape 27 of the 2nd cassette tape 22 is also driven toward the arrow B in a several times speed as high as the standard speed. In this case the signals recorded to channels 9b and 9c of a track 9a of the tape 9 are recorded to channels 27b, 27c of a track 27a of the tape 27 of the cassette 22. |
