摘要 PURPOSE:To evaluate correctly the disturbance in directivity and to improve the accuracy of evaluation of the effect of an optional directivity by forming an arrayed sound source/echo receiver having the perpendicular directivity equivalent to the directivity of a sound source/ echo receiver having the directivity, under the condition for defining said directivity. CONSTITUTION:The positions and weights of the respective elements of an equivalent perpendicularly and linearly arrayed sound source/echo receiver having a perpendicular directional pattern with respect to the perpendicular directional pattern of a sound source/echo receiver having a given frequency and directivity are calculated 5, 6. The transmission functions for all the combinations of the arrayed sound source elements and arrayed echo receiver elements are calculated under the invironmental condition given by a means for analyzing acoustic wave propagation for plural preset distances between the sound source and the echo receiver, and the transmission function is multiplied by the weight of the sound source elements with all of said elements at every depth of the wave receiving elements with respect to the respective distances between the sound source and echo receiver by means 12, 13 for calculating outputs and the results thereof are added. The added result is further multiplied by the weights of the echo receiving elements with all of said elements and the results are added, by which the output of the directional echo receiver placed in the sound field generated by a directional sound source is calculated.
