PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve initial adhesive force between a conductive support shaft and an adhesive layer and prevent the conductive support shaft from being corroded by a long period of use under a hot and humid environment.SOLUTION: Provided is a conductive roller having an adhesive layer on a conductive support shaft, and having a conductive layer on the adhesive layer. The adhesive layer includes a phenol resin, the conductive layer includes an epichlorohydrin rubber, and the conductive support shaft includes a ferritic stainless steel having a composition of, by mass%, carbon of 0.001 to 0.020%, nitrogen of 0.001 to 0.020%, silicon of 0.010 to 0.500%, manganese of 0.050 to 1.000%, phosphor of 0.040% or less, sulfur of 0.010% or less, chromium of 12.000 to 25.000%, at least one of titanium of 0.020 to 0.500% and niobium of 0.020 to 1.000%, at least one of tin of 0.005 to 2.000% and antimony 0.0050 to 1.000%, and the balance iron with inevitable impurities.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
