PURPOSE:To give an access easily to a desired chapter position when a remote chapter is designated by adding a timer circuit and an OR circuit to a search adder/subtractor circuit. CONSTITUTION:When a chapter search key 8 is pushed, a search designation signal CPF is supplied to an OR circuit 14. An up/down counter 13 is set at the up-side with the signal CPF via a 1-shot MV15 and an AND circuit 16. At the same time, the output of the MV15 supplies a pulse through an OR circuit 18 and therefore 1 is added to the output of the counter 13. In the same way, 1 is subtracted from the output of the counter 13 when a reverse search key is turned on. A timer circuit 19 starts its working as soon as the search key is turned on. The circuit 19 delivers the pulse periodically as long as the search key is kept on. Thus the output codes of the counter 13 increase and then decrease with a reverse key. As a result, the chapter position increases one by one with ON/OFF of the key. Then the chapter position increases and decreases one by one if the key is pushed continuously. |
