PURPOSE:To effectively generate a rotary magnetic field even at a low voltage by sequentially switching drive transistors on the basis of information from a position detector in response to the rotating position of a rotor, thereby flowing bidirectional current to the drive coil. CONSTITUTION:Two position detectors 20a, 20b for obtaining a signal in response to the rotating position of a rotor are connected in series, and connected through resistors 40, 41 to positive and negative side power supply terminals 18, 19 of a power source. Drive transistors 2-5 and 6-9 are sequentially switched at every 90 deg. rotating electric angle on the basis of information from the detectors 20a, 20b to flow bidirectional current to drive coils 1a, 1b, thereby generating a rotating magnetic field to obtain rotary force. |
