PURPOSE:To perform a transfer molding operation by precisely positioning patterns by providing a film fixer to fix large numbers of moldings obtained concurrently. CONSTITUTION:Fixing molds 36a-36c are orderly closely ontacted by a fixing type presser, and a movable mold 34 is moved and a transfer film 71 is inserted and fixed between clamp receivers 49a, 49b and 91c and clamps 54a, 54b and 92a-92d. The film 71 is then held exactly between the projection 36a' of the fixed mold 36a and the recession 40' of the movable mold 40 and deformed to bring about a tension. Since between the patterns of the film 71 is exactly fixed, no displacement of the patterns takes plate. The displacement of the film 71 can thus be prevented, the molds are completely closed, and the film 71 is completely fixed between the parting faces of the movable mold 40 and the fixed mold 36a by the clamping force of the molding machine. Molten resin is injected from an injection nozzle into the cavity and the transfer of pattern to the molding is made at the same time as the molding is made. |
