METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ALIGNING ORDER OF PICTURE DATA IN PICTURE SCANNING RECORDER

PURPOSE:To simplify hardware configuration and to shorten access time by aligning picture data to be scanned in a line memory of a buffer memory. CONSTITUTION:A rotary encoder is fitted to a rotary drum in a picture scanning part 1 scanning an original and an outputted one-rotation pulse and n pulses in one rotation are inputted in a timing signal generating circuit 6. A write/ read address signal Sa of picture data is formed and inputted in a buffer memory 30 on the basis of the outputted system clock signal S1 and start signal S2. A request signal S4 and a write permission signal S3 are generated in a timing generating circuit 6 and inputted to a buffer memory 30. Data of respective scanning lines are aligned in the buffer memory 30 so that the order of scanning coincides with the physical order of a line memory, the aligned data are successively inputted to a shift register 4 and recording beam is controlled.
