This invention relates to a direct current arc-welding machine, which uses a consumable electrode. This direct current arc-welding machine is equipped with a direct current source; a first reactor, which is connected in series with the direct current source and with the welding load; a rectification circuit, which is connected with the second coil of the first reactor; and a second reactor, which is connected with the output part of the rectification circuit. This machine has a special feature in that the second coil of the first reactor supplies current to the welding load through the rectification circuit and the second reactor.
