摘要 PURPOSE:To have stable transport of hangers, i.e. that of works, by pinching the foremost part of a hanger, which is transported while hanging from a main conveyor, with a chucker installed on a sub-conveyor running synchronously with said main conveyor. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of rod-shaped hangers 2 are suspended at a main conveyor 1, consisting of a chain conveyor unit of over-head type, at a certain spacing to bear works 3, which are to be coated by a coating robot 4. At the side of this main conveyor 1, a synchronous chain 5 is installed wound round sprockets 6, 7, and the hangers 2 come in contact with a detent piece 8 mounted at this chain 5 and push it to run the synchronous chain 5, and this motion of the chain will operate the following chains 12, 12 through a rotation transmissive member 10. The bottom of each hanger is held by a pair of pinch plates 18, 18 of a chucker 17 installed between the chains 12, 12 when these plates 18, 18 move inward along the guide members 24, 24. Thus stabilized transport of hangers 2 is obtained.
