<p>A process and an installation for the biological purificn. of organically polluted liq. effluent by anaerobic fermentation. The process is of the type in which the liq. contacts a fluidised bed of particles on which micro-organisms, partic. bacteria, have been fixed. The treatment is carried out in a vertical reactor equipped with at least two indpenedent recycling circuits. Each circuit continuously extracts liq. At one level of the reactor and reinjects the liq. at another level. One, at least, of the recycling circuits assists in the fluidisation. - Pref. in addition to a recycling circuit assiting in the fluidisation, another recycling circuit assists in fixing the micro-organisms on the solid particles. The process is pref. used as a source of methane gas.</p> |
