PURPOSE:To easily obtain a cast tire having excellent bonding strength by easily taking it out of molds and also by simplifying the molds by a method in which two halves having extended pieces and a semi-ring form for a tire body are molded, and the extended pieces of the two halves are lapped with each other and integrally joined under pressures. CONSTITUTION:Extended pieces 4 and 5 of a round ring form are integrally and continuously projected from the facing sides of semi-ringed parts 2 and 3 or two halves formed by dividing a tire into the two parts along near the center line (a). The extended pieces 4 and 5 are lapped on each other to form the central ground-contact face of the tread of the tire. The halves are held on the mold 10, melted, and pressed at the center of the joint portions of the extended pieces 4 and 5. Since a projection 11a for forming a tread pattern is provided to the top force 11, at the same time as the joint portions are melted, the projection 11a intrudes into the coupling portion, the bonding strength of both is increased by mixing the resin and elastomer in the boundary of the coupling portion, and the tread pattern is formed on the tread face of the tire. |
