The invention in question concerns a strap tightening device designed for use in connection with a strap (3, 8) which is brought together from opposite directions into a mutual clasp (l, 101) , which displays a crossways movable locking bar (6, 106), around which the strap's (8) free part (9) is fed. A simple and effective tightening unit is retained by the invention, whereby the strap can also be released via the same arrangement. This tightening unit consists of a lever (12, 112), which is positioned as a location pivot with the clasp (1, 101). The lever (12, 112) displays a feeder roll (14, 114) which works in conjunction with a guide bar (16, 116) arranged, at a distance from, and parallel with, each other and the end of the strap (9), which extends from the end of the strap (8) between the strap (8) and the feeder roll (14, 114) around the guide bar (16, 116), back between the end of the strap (9) and feeder roll (14, 114) and forward to the clasp (1, 101).<IMAGE> |
