PURPOSE:To make the noise at low quantized bit into white noise, by producing the white noise with virtual random pattern. CONSTITUTION:The digital parallel signal fed to the input terminal 6 is fed to the upper rank M-bit from the MSB of the N-bit D/A converter 7. Further, from the M+1-th bit to N-th bit, the random pattern from the virtual random pattern generating circuit 8 is fed. Analog signal is output from the D/A converter 7 with the inputs and fed to the analog output terminal 9. At the D/A conversion, since the virtual random pattern is always present at the M+1-th bit to the N-th bit, even if the number of effective bits of the digital parallel signal is less, the quantized noise is mixed with white noise and good result in audible sense can be obtained. |
