The title compds. [I; R1 = H or C1-3 alkyl; R2 = C1-3 alkyl; Z = optionally substituted Ph; W = H, F, Cl, Br, trifluoromethyl, C1-3 and their salts, useful as antidepressant pharmaceuticals, were prepd. by the condensation of II with HNR1R2 in the presence of an acid catalyst. The effectiveness of I in blocking synaptosomal uptake of serotonin was demonstrated.
