PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution and improve reliability of operation of an equipment which changes over the valve action by having a hydralic actuator move a rocker arm in the axial direction of a cam shaft, by making up the hydraulic actuator as a direction change-over valve. CONSTITUTION:Hydraulic actuators 31 and 32 serving for changing over shift of both couples of intake and exhaust rocker arms 14 and 16, and 14' and 16' of the second and third cylinders are made up as direction change-over valves. The actuator 31 contains at both sides thereof chambers 31a and 31b which are changeably connected to the oil pressure chamber 10a of an accumulator 10 or an oil tank 12 via a solenoid direction change-over valve 1. A stopper 7 is engaged in one of the dents 31c and 31d which are made on the actuator 31 and the transmission lever 3d of a hydraulic clutch 3 is engaged with said stopper 7. The outlet rod 4a of a timing lifter 4 is engageably joined with said lever 3d. The output port B1 of the actuator 31 and the oil pressure chamber 32a of the actuator 32 are conected to each other via an opening and closing valve 33a which is formed in an oil pump 33. |
