PURPOSE:To provide a pharmaceutical preparation for external use, having the desirable quality of SATOTSUKO (a Chinese drug), and applicable easily without staining the skin and clothes, etc., by compounding a rubber-based adhesive substance with natural bitumen, beeswax, animal oil and vegetable oil, and applying the obtained tacky layer on a carrier. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. of a rubber-based adhesive substance selected from natural rubber, synthetic rubber and their mixture, is compounded with 100- 1,200pts.wt. of natural bitumen, 30-350pts.wt. of beeswax, 5-80pts.wt. of an animal oil (e.g. lard, beef tallow, etc.) and 150-1,500pts.wt. of a vegetable oil (preferably sesame oil). The mixture is spread on a flexible carrier such as woven cloth, nonwoven cloth, foamed sheet, etc. to a thickness of 50mum-2mm., preferably 100mum-1mm. to obtain the objective preparation having excellent effect to purulent diseases.
