PURPOSE:An aqueous solution, obtained by incorporating a specific polyethylene glycol with water at a specific ratio, and capable of forming coats having a degree of surface tension and transparency most resembling those of natural waterdrops on a material, e.g. an artificial flower, with improved absorbility. CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution obtained by incorporating 40% polyethylene glycol having about 300 average molecular weight with 60% water. The resultant solution is then sprayed and absorbed in an artificial flower consisting of a water absorbing material, and an organic fluorine-containing compound having water and oil repellency is scattered on the resultant coat and dried. The aque- ous solution of the polyethylene glycol is further sprayed thereon.
