PURPOSE:To prevent sealing oil for the rotary shaft of a turbo-compressor or the like from mixing with lubricating oil, by providing an air blocking wall in the drain passage of a lubricating oil line to block only air in the drain passage. CONSTITUTION:Bearings 16 for supporting the rotary shaft 5 of a turbo-compressor 2 are provided in bearing casings 17. Lubricating oil drain pipes 14 are connected to the bottoms of the bearing casings 17. Vents 19 are provided in the tops of the casings. An air blocking wall 18 is provided in the oil drain section of each casing 17, in such a position as to block only upper air A. As a result, only lubricating oil LO flows into the drain pipe 14 through an U-shaped passage at the bottom of the casing 17. Since the atmospheric pressure is maintained in the bearing casing 17, there is no pressure difference between the lubricating oil LO and sealing oil SO. The sealing oil is thus kept from being driven into the lubriating oil to deteriorate it. |
