EXHAUST PURIFIER OF INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE

PURPOSE:To facilitate shaping of a secondary air supply system by drilling a secondary air distribution passage which is communicated to an exhaust port from the conjugated face of a cylinder head with a cylinder and shaping a secondary air supply passage which meets and is communicated with the distribution passage inside the cylinder head. CONSTITUTION:Secondary air distribution passages 25 are drilled through a cylinder head 12 obliquely upwards from the conjugated face 12a with a cylinder block 11 and communicated at the ends thereof with exhaust ports 9, respectively. Each of the distribution passages 25 is formed for every unit of the exhaust port 9 and both the distribution passages 25 are crossed each other inside the cylinder head 12. A secondary air supply passage 26 is drilled through the cylinder head 12 from the side face thereof. The open part of the supply pasages 26 is fixed by engaged with one end of a secondary air supply pipe 27. The other end of said pipe 27 is connected to an air cleaner via a reed valve device 28 and a secondary air control valve 35.
