发明名称 POSITIONING METHOD OF TWO-SIDED MAGNETIC HEAD
摘要 PURPOSE:To attain easily the positioning of a magnetic head with extremely high accuracy by setting both 0-side and 1-side heads with their counter faces to recording medium set opposite to each other and changing the positions of both heads while supplying a current to the head of one side and at the same time measuring the induction electromotive force generated at the other head. CONSTITUTION:A 0-side head 10 is fixed to a 0-side carriage 16; while a 1-side head 12 is held by a 1-side carriage 18. A screw 20 is unfastened first to give a free movement to the carriage 18, and an AC power supply 70 is connected to the head 10. While a synchroscope 72 is connected to the head 12. Then an alternating current of about 10-100kHz is flowed to the head 10 from the power supply 70, and therefore the induction electromotive force is produced at the head 12. Thus the positions are changed in the X-Y direction between both heads 10 and 12 fixed to carriages 16 and 18 respectively.
