ELIMINATING CIRCUIT FOR NOISE OF SOUND SIGNAL

PURPOSE:To attain the noise elimination with an extremely small approximate error noise in a simple constitution by preholding the noise generating period with the signal level set at a start point and at the same time obtaining an error signal based on the signal level difference at the start/end points of a microperiod set right before the noise generating period in order to give the interpolation to the drop-out part of the noise generating period in terms of area. CONSTITUTION:A reproduction signal (a) supplied from an input terminal 1 is applied to the 1st capacitor 4 through the 1st switch circuit 2 whose ON period is controlled by a switching signal (k). Then a signal (b) which holds the signal level set at the start point of a noise generating period T is applied to a mixing circuit 6. A switching circuit 11 is controlled by the 3rd switching signal (k) and applies an error signal to the circuit 6. Thus the circuit 6 mixes signals (b) and (g) together to give the interpolation to a drop-out (or additional) part of the period T in terms of area. The output of the circuit 6 is given to an LPF8 to obtain a reproduction signal which is faithful to the original signal with elimination of noises at an output terminal 9.
