The invention relates to a small cabinet for filing office documents. The files contained rest in a holder 4, itself contained in a casing 1 open only on one of its large vertical sides. The dimensions of the casing and of its holder are such that the latter can be tilted easily on its bottom edge on the opening side of the casing, and remain locked in an oblique position, giving access to its upper opening and thus allowing easy handling of the files contained. A plurality of these small cabinets, of small depth, can without inconvenience be superposed or juxtaposed in order to form, as needed, a larger unit. <IMAGE>
