PURPOSE:A coating material composition, containing a mixture of a specific amphoteric resin with an amino-formaldehyde resin or an isocyanate compound as a vehicle, and having improved pigment dispersibility and weather resistance. CONSTITUTION:A coating material composition containing a mixture of (A) 45- 95wt% amphoteric resin obtained by reacting (i) an acidic resin having functional groups and ester bondes reactive with a crosslinking agent or reacting (ii) an amphoteric resin obtained by reacting a basic resin and/or a basic compound with the component (i) with (iii) a hindered amine based light stabilizer having ester bonds by the ester-ester interchange reaction, and incorporating a hindered amine based light stabilizer therein with (B) 55-5wt% amino-formaldehyde resin etherified with a lower alcohol or isocyanate compound as a vehicle.
