This magnetic circuit or "armature" is produced from an initially flat metal part, shaped like a star with a central portion 8 and radial claws 9. A stamped zone at the centre of the portion 8 forms the fixed core 3 of the electromagnet. The claws 9 are bent and deformed by successive operations II, III, IV so as together to form a prismatic configuration provided in order finally to surround the coil of the electromagnet. Particular application: electrocontactors of starters for heat engines. <IMAGE>
