PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which prevents the shear droop at the shoulder of a groove owing to a punch, permits easy grinding and improves the yield of a blank material in grooving by a press by providing a projecting around the groove of a punch guiding groove and building up preliminarily the shear droop part of the wall. CONSTITUTION:When a blank holder 1 of a press descends to contact with a work W under pressure, a projecting part 4 around the punch guiding groove intrudes into the work and builds up the material metal at the edge of the punch guiding groove. Even if a punch 2 descends to work a groove on the blank, a build-up metal 3a is kept restrained and therefore the retracting shear droop is obviated. The succeeding finishing and machining stage is made easy as there is less machining margin and the yield of the blank material is improved. |
