PRODUCTION OF ANTISTATIC FIBER

摘要

PURPOSE:A fiber-forming thermoplastic polymer containing polyoxyalkylene glycol or its derivative is subjected to melt-spinning by means of a spinneret having nozzles for making dense fibers under specific conditions to give the fibers with high antistatic performance. CONSTITUTION:A fiber-forming thermoplastic polymer such as a polyester containing more than 0.5wt% of polyoxyalkylene glycol such as polyethylene glycol or its derivative is subjected to melt spinning by means of a spinneret having nozzles for dense fibers of 0.2mm.<2> or more hole area so that the equation where S is the nozzle area in mm.<2> on the spinneret and Q is through-put each nozzle in g/min is satisfied to give the objective antistatic fiber.
